General
The road works have now finished for a couple of weeks- a bit annoying they don’t have a sign stating ‘access permitted’.
The council are resurfacing the whole road shortly I will post the dates when I have them
Big thanks to Mark Poole for the digger work we carried out at Press Manor last week.
We have built a new carpark for disabled and ambulant anglers, mid- way down the lake, extended carparks by the dam, and near the lodge. On the Carp lake we have made access points wider, whilst on the Coarse lake we have stabilized some of the pegs on the south bank and scraped the walkway down, from peg 18 down to 25 which had become muddy in the winter

Trout Lake
Add RepoFishing has been mixed this week, the cold easterly and sun making fishing challenging at times. Anglers using dries have done quite well with trout coming blind to small dries, one angler doing well on a grey Adams style parachute. Mike Smith had a good bag of trout using white worms under an Indicator set at 3 feet.
Whatever you use keep your flies in the top 3 feet and if a flat calm be sure to sink your leader, using mud, or use fluorocarbon.
We had a visit from an Osprey last week I will get a film of it diving posted, great to see it plunge and take a fish.rt For Trout Lake
Carp Lake
Some carp have been caught this week, I will update the catch return later today once I have chatted to the guys fishing over the weekend.
Coarse Lake
Similar to the Trout lake the cold easterly wind and bright sun and high pressure has affected catches this week.
Both feeder and float tactics have worked, with maggot being the best bait, so I would be flexible in your approach. Keep nets mut be bone dry, please put them behind you to thoroughly dry if you have been to another fishery.
Tight Lines
